Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms and it provides grace, poise, and technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance. Early ballet classes will help dancers with posture, flexibility, turnout, terminology and ballet positions.
Dancers will begin class at the barre, then move to center floor work and close the class with across the floor combinations. Ballet is the most disciplined and important form of dance for all serious dancers. Each level in the ballet series builds on technique and skill.

Pointe- refers to the type of shoes advanced ballet dancers wear which allow the dancer to perform on tips of their toes. Students are placed in pointe by their ballet teacher when they have reached a level of proficiency that allows them to dance on pointe.

Dress Code: All Ballet classes wear any color ballet leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes. Hair should be worn in a bun to class.
